As of February 3, 2009, the ID Access Card Readers for the residence halls, Garden Apartments, and Circle Apartment Community Building will be active.
We ask that all residential students use their ID cards to gain access into their residence hall. While we work on the finishing touches of the full implementation of the ID Access system, a resident’s key will provide them access to their residence hall. It is our goal to have the system fully implemented by the end of spring break, at which time only their ID card will work.
We strongly encourage all residents to visit our web site (https://www.ithaca.edu/reslife/IDAccess/index.htm) & (https://www.ithaca.edu/reslife/pdffiles/ID_Access_FAQs.pdf) for information on the ID Access System. If any resident has any questions or concerns about the ID Access system that are not addressed on our web site, please email us at IDAccess@ithaca.edu.
If you experience any problems with your ID card or have misplaced it, please go to the ID office in the Terrace 1, Monday—Friday, 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.
We greatly appreciate your assistance with implementing this system. If at any time a card reader is not working properly, or appears to be damaged, please contact us immediately; call 607-274-3141 between 8:30AM – 5PM or email us at IDAccess@ithaca.edu.
