Naeem Inayatullah: Recent Panels and Presentations

Associate professor of politics Naeem Inayatullah has recently been engaged in a number of scholarly activities, including the following.
He gave a talk at Cornell: "Something There: Playing Basketball in Afghanistan and Pakistan," for the South Asia Seminar Program Series, Cornell University, January 26, 2009.
He also attended the 50th annual meeting of the International Studies Association, New York City, February 15-18, 2009, for which he did the following:
- Acted as chair and convener of the panel, "Autobiography as a Source for Exploring the Past and Anticipating the Future." The panel included a paper by IC alum and politics major Sara-Maria Sorentino '08.
- Presented a paper, "Fundamentals of Liberalism: Invisible, Invasive, Artful, and Bloody Hands" (with David Blaney), on the panel, "Revisiting Liberal Internationalism I: Theory and History."
- Acted as chair and discussant for the panel, "Negotiating Globalization."
