Then apply for the Washington, D.C., Unpaid Summer Internship Scholarship!
Students who will complete an internship during the summer of 2009 in an unpaid (or travel-stipend only) position should apply for this scholarship. The award is intended to aid in the payment of tuition for the internship and/or defray living expenses for the summer experience. Applications are now available at https://www.ithaca.edu/sacl/careers/docs/DCApp/ and are due on March 20 to the Office of Career Services.
Students who will be sophomores, juniors, or seniors in the Fall of 2009 with a GPA of at least 3.0 and good judicial standing are eligible to apply. Applicants must also demonstrate financial need for the 2009-10 school year, as determined through their financial aid documentation.
Funding for this scholarship is provided through the generosity of alumni residing in the Washington, D.C., area. Contact the Office of Career Services for additional information or a paper copy of the application form.
