Larry Teng graduated in 1999 with a B.S. in cinema production and minors in scriptwriting, art history, and theater. He began his career working at MTV animation as a production assistant/storyboard artist on shows such as Celebrity Death Match and Spy Groove. After countless interviews, he secured a job as a postproduction assistant on the CBS show, Now and Again, created by Glenn Gordon Caron (Moonlighting). Within months he filled the position of postproduction coordinator.
In 2000, Teng started working on NBC's new series, Ed. While working on Ed, Teng rose from postproduction supervisor to associate producer, music supervisor, and, finally, coordinating producer.
After Ed, Teng began work on the pilot for Medium. The series created by Glen Caron was green lighted by NBC and Teng headed out to Los Angeles to produce 13 episodes. Those 13 episodes quickly became 16 and now, five years later, the series just wrapped its 93'rd episode with Teng at the helm as co-executive producer and director.
