In case you missed it:
"Ed2010 is a community of young magazine editors and magazine-editor wannabes who want to learn more about the industry so we can fulfill our dreams of landing top editing and writing positions in the the magazine industry. Ed was born in New York City, but we now have chapters in cities across the U.S., Canada, and in the UK."
The IC chapter of Ed2010 was just launched by five journalism majors who spotted the need for a professional networking organization for aspiring magazine writers and editors. We're excited to start connecting with local editors and rubbing elbows with NYC editors. We'll be designing programs to bring magazine head honchos to campus so we can learn about the editorial process, the freelancing life, the "biz" side, how to think like an editor, and the best insider tips on internship/job searching to reach your dream magazine job.
