Using "Clickers" in the Classroom -- Information Sessions on the PRS System, April 28 and May 8

04/10/09

Contributed by Marilyn Dispensa

The eInstruction/Interwrite Personal Response System (PRS) clickers allow instructors to engage students with live, in-class polling and track their responses. This session is designed for instructors thinking about using the PRS system in their fall courses.

In this session, there will be a demonstration of this system; its integration with Powerpoint and some discussion of the pedagogical implications of using this technology. Participants will leave this session with a basic understanding of both the pedagogical and technical issues involved with this technology.

Click Personal Response System (PRS): Demo for Instructors to register for the information sessions on either:

Tuesday, April 28, 12:15 - 1:00 p.m. or
Friday, May 8, 11:00 - 11:45 a.m.

If you cannot attend either of these sessions and would like more information, please contact Marilyn Dispensa at mdispensa@ithaca.edu.
