Concert Band to Offer "Stolen Gems"

"Stolen Gems" is the theme of an upcoming free concert by the Ithaca College Concert Band under Mark Fonder's direction on Wednesday, April 29, at 8:15 p.m. in Ford Hall. The program consists of works originally written for other instrumentations, mostly orchestra, including the overture to Die Fledermaus by Johann Strauss, a suite from Merry Mount by Howard Hanson, and waltzes from Der Rosenkavelier by Richard Strauss.
