Optical Scanning Finals Week Procedures Have Changed!

Optical Scanning Finals Week procedures have recently changed. There are special procedures and schedules in place for Final Exam Week – Tuesday, May 5th through Monday, May 11th, 2009. Optical Scanning runs will be made from the ITS Main Office to ITS Phillips, EVERY HOUR between 8am and 4pm. Please allow for a three-hour turnaround time.

All test results will be emailed to professors without exception. As such, a valid Ithaca College faculty email address will be required on all test cover sheets. Test results WILL NOT be emailed to a non-ithaca.edu address.

After Hours Drop Off: Tuesday, May 5th through Friday, May 8th and Monday, May 11th (4pm-11pm)

• Professors can drop off Optical Scanning and wait for tests to be processed during this time.
• Professors cannot pick up Optical Scanning that has been previously dropped off at the ITS Main Office Tuesday- Thursday of this week.
• To drop off Optical Scanning for processing, professors must call Computer Operations at 274-3406 to make arrangements with the Operator on duty. Instructors will be met outside of the ITS Main Office (102 Muller) and escorted to ITS Phillips.
• All exams must be to the Operator by 11:00pm to ensure processing.

After Hours Drop Off/Pick Up: Friday, May 8th and Monday, May 11th (4pm-11pm)

• All exams not picked up from the ITS Main Office by 4:00pm on Friday, May 8th and Monday May 11th will be taken to ITS Phillips for after hours pick up.
• Professors must call Computer Operations at 274-3406 to make arrangements to drop off, drop off and wait for tests to be processed, or pick up Optical Scanning with the Operator on duty. Instructors will be met outside of the ITS Main Office (102 Muller) and escorted to ITS Phillips.
• All exams must be to the Operator by 11:00pm to ensure processing.
• The LAST scanning run to ITS Phillips for pick-up after hours will be at 4:00pm on Monday, May 11th.
• All exams that have NOT been picked up after hours from ITS Phillips will be brought back to the ITS Main Office on Tuesday, May 12th. They will be available for pick-up by 8:30am.

Final exam processing will continue during regular business hours (8am-5pm) Tuesday, May 12th, Wednesday, May 13th, and Thursday, May 14th. You will not be able to make arrangements for after hours drop off or pick up Tuesday through Thursday of that week.
