Vivian Bruce Conger, Associate Professor of History, Receives American Philosophical Society Mellon Fellowship

Vivian Bruce Conger, associate professor of history, has been selected as a 2009-2010 American Philosophical Society Library Resident Fellow.

Professor Conger will be designated as an Andrew W. Mellon Foundation Fellow, which provides a one-month grant and stipend for work in residence at the American Philosophical Society Library in Philadelphia.

During the fellowship period, Professor Conger will continue research on her project, entitled "The Age of Deborah Franklin: Gender in the Early Republic."
