The Center for Faculty Excellence announces that the program for "Theirs, Mine and Ours: Meeting Collective Objectives through Comprehensive Assessment" has been consolidated into one day, Tuesday, May 19, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the Clark Lounge of Campus Center.
The morning panel responds to the question, "But my department did our first set of objectives ... now we have to do harder ones?" Followed by hands-on work and discussion, the panelists are Ann Kolodji, Department of Health Promotion and Physical Education; Andrew Crouse, Department of Physics; and Antonio DiRenzo, Department of Writing.
The afternoon pays particular attention to diversity: to setting and assessing learning objectives related to attitude and behavior changes. Panelists are Masa Nunokawa, Department of Psychology; Rebecca Lesses, Jewish studies program; and Mary Ann Erickson, aging studies program.
Space is still available for a limited number of participants; please register online at the Center for Faculty Excellence website, where you can also find more information about the day's events. Please contact Susanne Morgan if you have questions.
