Leigh Ann Vaughn Presents Collaborative Research with Students at Two Professional Conferences

Associate Professor of Psychology Leigh Ann Vaughn gave four oral presentations of research at two professional conferences in April and May 2009.

On April 18, Professor Vaughn presented two talks at the annual meeting of the Rocky Mountain Psychological Association in Albuquerque, New Mexico: "Regulatory Fit and Preference for Thinking in Higher-Level, More Abstract Ways about Behavior" and "Values Affirmation and Emotional Engagement in the 2008 Presidential Election."

On April 30 and May 1, she presented two talks at the annual meeting of the Midwestern Psychological Association in Chicago, Illinois: "The Effect of Regulatory Fit on Narrative Engagement and Persuasion" and "The Effect of Regulatory Fit on Trust."
