Elisabeth Nonas, associate professor and chair of the Department of Cinema, Photography, and Media Arts, will attend the 2009 Game Education Summit Conference, to be held June 16-17 at Carnegie Mellon's Entertainment Technology Center in Pittsburgh.
The summit promotes dialog between academia and industry. Nonas will speak on a panel titled, "Should Game Writing Be Part of the Curriculum?"
The Park School will launch a new major this fall, game design and immersive media, pending New York State approval.
