As we look forward to the beginning of a new academic year, I invite all faculty members to several Convocation events on Monday, August 24.

8:00-9:00 a.m.
Faculty breakfast
Egbert Dining Hall, Campus Center

9:15-10:00 a.m.
Faculty Convocation
Emerson Suites

10:40-10:55 a.m.
Robing and procession (procession begins in the academic quad, outside Job Hall)

11:00 a.m.-noon
Student Convocation
Ben Light Gymnasium

Noon
Community Picnic
Academic quad

I encourage you to attend the Convocation events as we welcome our new students and set the keynote for their education here at Ithaca.
