At approximately 11:00 a.m. on Monday, August 24, myHome 2.0 will be available to the campus community. This version of myHome includes two new features, Community and Mobile.
myHome Community is a social networking community exclusive to Ithaca College. myHome Mobile provides the ability for smartphone users to access many features and information services. See this recent Intercom article for more details.
When you first log into this new version of myHome you will be directed to a new feature overview and asked to agree to myHome community terms. If you agree, you will be able to use this new community; if you opt out, the community tab and related portlets will not function but you will be able to enjoy the other features of myHome and myHome Mobile. If at any point, you change your mind, you can become part of the community by accepting the Terms of Service, which can be reviewed by clicking on the "Community" tab. If you opt in and then change your mind and decide to opt out of the community, please contact the ITS Helpdesk.
All IC community members, faculty, staff, and students will have their basic online directory information available in myHome community. For students, this directory information will reflect directory preferences. Beyond this basic information, myHome community users have the option to edit and personalize profiles.
