On Saturday, October 3, IC Ballroom and Cornell DanceSport will be hosting the Cayuga DanceSport Challenge - a collegiate ballroom dancing competition. This all-day competition will take place in the Ben Light Gymnasium in the Hill Center.On Saturday, October 3, IC Ballroom and Cornell DanceSport will be hosting the Cayuga DanceSport Challenge - a collegiate ballroom dancing competition. This all-day competition will take place in the Ben Light Gymnasium in the Hill Center.
Dancers representing 18 different colleges will be competing throughout the day in a variety dances including: waltz, tango, cha-cha, rumba, and swing...just to name a few.
We invite you to stop in and cheer on our Ithaca College dancers! The competition begins at 8:00 a.m. and will run until 6:00 p.m. Admission is free.
The Saturday evening session will begin with the championship-level competition, followed by a professional show featuring Andrea Faraci and Iveta Pauryte.
