Stewart Auyash, Associate Professor, Health Promotion and Physical Education, has been named Visiting Associate Professor in the Division of Public and Promotional Communication at the Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information at Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in Singapore for Spring 2010.
Professor Auyash will teach a graduate course in Health Communication that will explore pandemic communication issues, health advocacy, and the politics of health communication. He will provide strategic direction to graduate and undergraduate students engaging in research in health communication and serve as a co-investigator with other NTU researchers on public health projects and participate in the Health Communication Cluster in Singapore.
In addition, Professor Auyash will participate in the planning and development of pre-conference activities for the Health Communication Track at the International Communication Association's annual conference in Singapore hosted by NTU in June 2010.
