Alayne MacArthur joins GPS as Professional Programs Manager

I am pleased to announce that Alayne MacArthur has joined the Division of Graduate and Professional Studies as the Professional Programs Manager.  Alayne will have responsibility over managing the GPS Professional Programs:  Online Certificate Program, and On-Campus Workshops and Institutes for professional audiences.

Alayne brings over 15 years of experience in all phases of the design and delivery of on-site and on-line professional development programs in the public and private sector.  Alayne’s professional development titles include “Critical Thinking and Problem Solving for the New Manager”, “Strategic Leadership”, “Building Problem Solving Teams” and “The Supervisor as Coach”. Alayne’s clients have included The National Association of Chronic Disease Directors, The Virginia Foundation for Healthy Youth, Centers for Disease Control, The Canadian National Crime Prevention Centre for Public Safety and National Health Promotion Associates. 

Alayne has a Masters degree in curriculum design and instructional technology from the State University of New York at Albany.

Alayne began her new position September 28.  She is currently finishing work on some prior commitments and will return to campus full-time beginning October 29. Please join me in welcoming Alayne to the Ithaca College community.
