Dr. Ismail Mehr, who led a humanitarian aid team to Gaza, will speak and show slides about his medical relief work on Monday, October 26, 8-9:30pm in Textor 101 at Ithaca College. Dr. Mehr and his team arrived in Gaza just a few days after the Israeli attacks in January 2009.
His slide presentation will cover the results of that war and the effects of the ongoing embargo on Gaza. The event is sponsored by the IC Students for Justice in Palestine. For more information, contact hweiss1@ithaca.edu.
