IC in DC is a great opportunity to take your education to the next level by connecting theory with practice. Internship opportunities have allowed IC students to do interviews at the White House, attend Senate hearings, create displays for national museums, do research for National Geographic, participate in our federal court system, and much more. There are internships for each major.

Deborah Curry, director of the Ithaca in Washington, D.C., Program, will be on campus to talk to interested students. The information session will take place on November 5 at 6:00 p.m. in room G69 of the Peggy Ryan Williams Center.

You will also hear from students who have participated in the program and learn about the value and excitement of spending a semester in Washington. Washington, D.C., was voted the best city for young professionals by Kiplinger's, a business and financial magazine, because of its cornucopia of opportunities inside and outside of government.

Although the application deadline has passed, interested students can still apply while spaces remain available.

For additional information e-mail the Division of Graduate and Professional Studies at gps@ithaca.edu or call 607-274-3264.

Refreshments served.

We hope to see you there!
