On Tuesday, November 10th, at 4:00pm in Center for Natural Sciences Room 112, the Sustainability Café will feature Todd Mcleish ’84 presenting on “Translating Science: Giving Wildlife a Voice.”
Science writer Todd McLeish has been writing about wildlife and environmental issues for more than 20 years. While earning degrees in communications at Ithaca College and Emerson College, he developed a passion for wildlife, natural history and environmental protection. Rather than pursue a biology degree, Todd immersed himself in the natural world by volunteering with and writing about biologists conducting wildlife research. In more than 100 magazine and newspaper articles and dozens of essays, he has given voice to backyard wildlife, profiled biologists and wildlife artists, and highlighted numerous threatened species.
This Café is being held in conjunction with the Environmental Seminar.
