Assistant professor Dennis Charsky in the Department of Strategic Communication and alum Jessica Briskin ’09 recently presented at the annual international convention of the Association for Educational Communications and Technology (AECT) in Louisville, Kentucky.
Charsky and Briskin presented their paper, “Instructional Designer: Your Role in Talent Management.” Talent management has become a hot topic for organizations and this presentation showed the relationship between the work of an instructional designer and the recruitment and retention aspects of talent management.
Briskin who received her BS in Communication Management and Design with a concentration in Instructional Technology is currently pursuing an MS in Instructional Systems at Penn State University.
