Internships Available with ICView

11/24/09

ICView, the magazine of Ithaca College, has two internship spots open for the spring semester.

Twelve-and-a-half hours a week, 3 credits only. Credit can be gained in either writing or journalism (check with your adviser). You'll have the chance to really learn how a magazine works. If you prefer writing, you'll write. If you prefer research, you'll do more of that. If you like multimedia web work, you'll do mostly that.

But you'll really do a little bit of everything: intensive research, writing, interviewing, proofreading, story list compilation and tracking, photography (if you like and are good at it).

This is, in short, an excellent, all-around editorial experience unlike any other, and it's right here on campus.

Send an e-mail telling us of your interest, and attach a resume and samples of some of your nonfiction, nonacademic writing, preferably something journalistic that has been published. Also tell us your availability for a one-hour interview.

Send to Maura Stephens, editor, at icview@ithaca.edu.
