“The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes but in having new eyes.”
-Marcel Proust
Are you considering studying abroad? Do you want to hear from students that have? There's a new community of study abroad alumni emerging on campus and we want to share what we've learned with you!
First, check out our new blog (http://www.ithacastudyabroad.blogspot.com/)- a collaboration among IC study abroad aluni that will be made up of student accounts and photos of their experiences, scholarship opportunities, and useful preparation tips and websites. We could also include a Q&A section where we answer your questions related to study abroad. Questions could range anywhere from what's it like to study and live in a particular country to how do I find cheap airline tickets to should I choose a program where I live with a host family.
Next, if you have questions specific to a country or program, someone who's been there would be happy to meet up with you or answer your questions by phone or email.
Whether you've been abroad or are considering it, and are interested in participating in our community in any way, email Samantha Wolfe at swolfe2@ithaca.edu or leave a comment on our blog.
