Want to get away for the weekend, meet new people and build your leadership skills? The Office of Student Engagement and Multicultural Affairs is now accepting applications for the annual Leadership Weekend retreat – and you should apply!
Leadership Weekend is held February 19-20, 2010 and is filled with exciting activities, insightful workshops and memorable moments. The weekend is a two-day retreat that brings together students from a variety of roles on campus to learn from each other and discover new ways to develop their personal leadership. Participants attend a series of leadership development sessions that focus on team-building and further developing individual leadership skills and understandings.
Who is this retreat for?
All Ithaca College first year students and sophomores are eligible to apply. This retreat is designed to encourage discussion about leadership, connect student leaders with each other, and to increase on-campus involvement.
What are the logistics of this event?
Leadership Weekend is held off campus at a retreat center. Lodging, meals, transportation and retreat materials are provided for all attendees. Leadership Weekend begins on Friday afternoon and concludes on Saturday evening. All participants must travel with the group and must stay for the whole weekend.

Applications are available here: https://www.ithaca.edu/sacl/osema/leadership/weekend. You have to fill out the application by December 31, 2009 to be considered. There is no fee to apply or attend the event.
