Mark your calendars! Ithaca Dining Services is excited to announce its annual Food Frenzy on Tuesday, January 26, 2010 from 11:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. in Emerson Suites.

The IC Food Frenzy is a free event that will feature all types of trendy food samples for IC students, faculty, and staff.

This year, IC Food Frenzy will carry the theme “Food for Love of Food” featuring all types of food and beverage trends. In addition, this year we will be asking for direct feedback from customers at each table and tabulating the feedback to determine what products will be added to Ithaca College’s existing product mix.

Also in working with the college’s sustainable mission, Ithaca Dining Services will provide plates, utensils and napkins that are all completely compostable!

Along with delicious samples the event will also work to raise money for Foodnet/Meals on Wheels. Monetary donations can be made and students will have the opportunity to donate a meal swipe from their meal plan as well. Foodnet/Meals on Wheels is a private, not-for-profit corporation created to provide meals and other nutrition services that promote dignity, well-being and independence for older adults and other persons in need in Tompkins County.

Don’t miss your chance sample great flavors. Join us on Tuesday, January 26, 2010 from 11:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. in Emerson Suites for food, fun and fellowship!
