Beginning today, purchase your student semester TCAT bus pass for only $110; a $10 savings over last fall's price.
In addition, your Ithaca College student ID card will now be your TCAT semester bus pass! Once TCAT activates the semester pass on your card, you'll just have to swipe your ID card to ride the bus; no more separate bus pass to keep track of! The process is easy!
To activate your semester bus pass on your ID card, call TCAT at 277-RIDE during business hours (Monday-Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm). The TCAT operator will take your student ID number and your credit card number over the phone. TCAT will work "behind the scenes" with our ID office to validate and activate the bus pass on your ID card; TCAT will charge your credit card $110.
It's important to note that it may take 1-2 days for your new bus pass to work on the bus. In the meantime, please carry an alternate fare. In the future, this process will be automated and won't require a phone call. During this transition process, we appreciate your patience!
Please note that the Ithaca College Bookstore will no longer sell TCAT semester passes; you must purchase your unlimited ride student semester pass direct from TCAT.
Ithaca College has "sweetened the deal" for monthly and 15-ride passes, which WILL continue to be sold at the Ithaca College Bookstore:
Service on Route 11 has been enhanced. Route 12 has been discontinued and its late night service incorporated into Route 11. Click to view the changes to Route 11.
Route 11 now offers a "one seat ride" to the Shops at Ithaca Mall. Route 30 to the Mall has been interlinked with Route 11 on most of its runs. This means that you stay on the same Route 11 bus to the Commons, the driver changes the route sign to Route 30, and you stay in your seat on the new route until you reach the Mall. No transferring required!
