One of Ithaca College's newest sport clubs, IC Squash is currently looking for members of the community who play squash or are interested in learning how to play.

There will be an informational meeting on Monday, January 25th at 7:00 p.m. in IC Square for current members and those of you interested learning more about the club.

IC Squash was formed in Fall 2009 to provide the students at Ithaca College an opportunity to participate in a highly social sport that has otherwise not been offered at Ithaca.

Squash is a fast-paced and exciting sport similar to tennis and racquetball but is generally considered to require more strategy and skill to play. It is a highly cerebral sport that improves the mind and body. Most of all, we intend to provide the members of IC Squash an opportunity to improve their fitness while having fun and making friends at the same time.

Our club practices Monday and Wednesday nights from 9-11 p.m. at the Reis Tennis Center which is located by the Cornell campus. We have scheduled matches with local institutions to be played in the spring 2010 semester.

If you're interested in learning more, contact Brad Kolodner '12 at bkolodn1@ithaca.edu
