Psychology professor Barney Beins was elected Fellow in International Psychology, a division of the American Psychological Association that represents the interest of all psychologists who foster international connections among psychologists, engage in multicultural research or practice, apply psychological principles to the development of public policy, or are otherwise concerned with individual and group consequences of global events.
Criteria for Fellow status includes such factors as publication of whole chapters or major sections of books that have to do with international or cross-cultural psychology and participation in international professional meetings.
