Another chance for Faculty & Staff members who missed the clinics last week:

Friday, January 29th from 11 am - 12 noon AND Monday, Feb. 1st, from 1 pm - 2 pm.

The Health Center will have staff available to administer H1N1 vaccines to faculty and staff members who missed our clinics last week on this Friday, January 29th, from 11 am - 12 noon AND on Monday, February 1st, from 1 pm - 2 pm.  Please call the Health Center, (607) 274-3177 to sign up for one of these time frames.

The vaccine is available for all current faculty and staff members. You will need to come to the Health Center to receive the vaccine.  It is very important that you call ahead to sign up to receive the vaccine.  Please dress appropriately to receive a shot in the upper arm, as this will help to reduce potential wait times.

You will be screened to determine which formulation of the vaccine you are eligible to receive.  The nasal mist is generally recommended for healthy people from 2 to 49 years of age, who are not pregnant.  The shot is generally recommended  for anyone who is 50 years or older, pregnant, or those with other underlying or chronic health conditions such as asthma or other chronic respiratory disease, immune deficiency, chronic inflammatory disorders like Crohn’s disease, and individuals on chronic corticosteroid treatment.

The vaccine is also available for all students.  Students are encouraged to call the Health Center to make an appointment to receive the vaccine.  Please call the Health Center at (607) 274-3177 with any questions.
