Residential Learning Community (RLC) Application period extended!

Are you still interested in living in an RLC? Applications are due Monday, February 22, 2010 at 5:00pm.
Apply for a Residential Learning Community!
Applications have been reopened and extended until Monday, February 22, 2010. To apply for an RLC, simply log-in to HomerConnect and fill out the brief application for any communities that interest you (more detailed instructions below).
Applications due – 5:00pm on Monday, February 22, 2010
Approvals will be posted on HomerConnect on Wednesday, February 24, 2010
Room Selection for RLCs will be on Thursday, February 25, 2010, 7:00am – 11:59pm
The RLCs offered next year are:
- HOME (Housing Offering a Multicultural Experience)-Located in Terrace 3, this community focuses on global and domestic issues of multiculturalism.
- Sustainably Conscious Learning Community-Located in Terrace 2, this community focuses on living sustainably and how to educate others about sustainability.
- House of Roy Residential Learning Community - will be NEW for fall 2010 and housed in Eastman Hall. House of Roy is open to any students who are interested in issues of gender identity and sexual orientation.
- Honors Learning Community-This community will be located on the ground and first floors of Lyon Hall and is open to all College Honors students.
- Outdoor Adventure Learning Community-Located on the second floor of Terrace 8, this community focuses on engaging with and learning about nature.
- Language learning communities-Located on the first and second floors of Terrace 7, these communities offer a partial immersion experience to learn about the language and cultures of specific areas of the globe. The language communities are:
- Vecinos-Spanish Language and Culture
- Stockwerk Deutsch-German Language and Culture
- Quartier francais-French Language and Culture
