Do you want to live in a community where it's always okay to share about your identities and life experiences? Do you want to learn about other's cultures, or make friends from around the world?
Housing Offering a Multicultural Experience, or the HOME Program, is the place for you. The deadline to apply has been extended to Monday, February 22.
The HOME program is housed in Terrace 3, and strives to create a welcoming community where people can share about themselves while learning about others.
HOME is for everyone - contrary to popular belief, the HOME program is not only for International or students of color. Everyone is welcomed with open arms to join the community.
Programs have included a trip New York City to see In the Heights, faculty seminars about identities and how they intersect, and cultural dinners where the building gets together to enjoy a family style meal and learn about a culture. We have a great lounge where we hold our events, and a computer lab and study lounge for your academic success.
Terrace 3 is also one of the few buildings on campus open for the entire Thanksgiving, spring, and part of the winter breaks. If traveling to and from your home is a challenge, we invite you to live in ours.
