If you completed your passport game, it navigated you directly to the Work/Life vendor table. We asked for your input on “What Does Wellness Mean To You?”  View the top 10 “activities” you told us support your wellness!

Work/Life Integration
Work/Life Lines (monthly tips via Intercom) and Lunch and Learns (monthly educational workshops) connect you to hot topics each month which bring awareness or provide support to you around the integration of work and life.  These monthly tips will offer healthy ways to help integrate your work and life by providing information through reminders, inspiration, awareness, resources and more!

Flexible Spending Account Deadline
If you made pre-tax payroll contributions to the Health Care FSA and/or the Dependent Care FSA during 2009, you have until March 31, 2010 to submit eligible expenses incurred from January 1, 2009 through December 31, 2009.

National Student Employment Week
This spring we will once again honor our student employees and their supervisors during National Student Employment Week.  We hope that on April 13, between 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., supervisors will take time to stop by Clark Lounge in the Campus Center and enjoy some time to kick back and relax with your student employee!

Employee Recognition Celebration
Our annual Recognition Celebration is for Thursday, April 22, 2010, at noon, in the Emerson Suites. Employees being honored at this year’s event have had an anniversary between June 1, 2009 and May 31, 2010.

PAID TIME AWAY
The Office of Human Resources would like to prepare the campus community to move to the on-line recording of our vacation, personal, and sick time through the Oracle Time and Labor system.  All non-unionized staff and administration will be able to record our Paid Time Away (PTA) – vacation, personal, and sick time on-line beginning June 1, 2010.

The Chronicle’s: “Great Colleges to Work For”
Ithaca College has registered to participate in The Great Colleges to Work For Survey process that will take place in March and April of 2010.  Now in its third year, the Great Colleges program has quickly become the premiere recognition program in higher education. Loosely based on the popular Fortune magazine list, “100 Best Companies to Work For”, Great Colleges is designed to recognize institutions that are great places to work and to compile detailed benchmarking data about industry trends. Instead of ranking institutions in one big list like Fortune does, the Great Colleges program recognizes groups of colleges for specific best practices and policies, such as tenure clarity, collaborative governance, work/life balance and compensation and benefits.

Copies of the newsletter will be distributed to benefits eligible employees in the coming week.

Enjoy!
