Band Concert to Honor the March King

The Symphonic Band, led by Elizabeth Peterson, will present a free concert of music by and inspired by John Philip Sousa on Tuesday, March 2 at 8:15 pm in Ford Hall.  The program includes Ira Hearshen's "Symphony on Themes of Sousa," as well as Sousa's own "The Washington Post," "The Thunderer," "The Fairest of the Fair," and "Hands Across the Sea."
