Get ready for a month of jam-packed Asian heritage celebration, hosted by the Asian Culture Club @ IC.
- Asian/Asian American Identity Panel:What does it mean to be Asian?
- Thursday April 1st @ 7pm in Klingenstein Lounge
- A discussion about Asian/Asian American identities on campus and in society.
- Asia Cuisine Lunch
- Friday April 2nd @ 11am to 3pm in Towers Dining Hall; for students with meal plans
- Asian American Celebration Meeting
- Wednesday April 7th @ 7pm in Williams 211
- Discussion, games and activities focused on Asian celebration!
- !! Slam Poetry with Two-Time National Slam Poetry Champion, Beau Sia!!
- Asian Americans in LGBT communities (TBA)
- !!! Event of the Year: Asia Night!!
- Friday, April 16th @ 7:00pm (performances at 7:30pm)
- Food by Ithaca Dining Services for $3 a plate
- Performances by Yamatai, FantAsia, Seishi Karate, Cornell Lion Dance, and many more!!
- Human Rights in Asia (TBA)
- Asian American Celebration and Recognition Ceremony
- Wednesday, April 28th @ 7pm in Clarke Lounge; Refreshments will be served
- Celebrating the organization's nearly two decades of work and honoring outstanding Asian/Asian American students, staff, faculty, supporters, and local members.
