Participation in the Ithaca in Washington, DC Program, is your opportunity to live, work and learn in an experiential-learning environment immersed in the history, politics, and culture of our nation's capital.
Through your internship for academic credit, you can acquire a depth of knowledge about a profession, experience practical applications of your major, and develop awesome professional networks for your future. During the academic year, the IC in DC Program offers a full academic load with an internship and coursework. During the summer, the IC in DC Program is internships only. Consider participating in IC in DC Program this Summer or the next academic year. We welcome applications from all majors.
There are still spaces available for Summer and Fall 2010. Come to an information session and meet with students who have participated in the program and learn about the value and excitement of spending a term in Washington, voted the best city for young professionals by “Kiplinger's Magazine” because of the cornucopia of opportunities inside and outside of government.
An information session will be held in the GPS Lounge (G069), on the garden level of Peggy R. Williams Center on Thursday, April 1, 2010 (12 Noon - 1 p.m.).
An ORIENTATION SESSION for all students who have been accepted and/or are interested in attending the Summer or Fall 2010 IC in DC Program will be held in the GPS Lounge (G069), Peggy R. Williams Center on Thursday, April 1, 2010. If you have already attended an orientation session this semester you do not need to attend this meeting.
