The May 25 event includes faculty sessions in the general areas of diversity and learning (morning) and integrative learning (afternoon.) The deadline for proposals is Sunday, April 25.
This year’s institute highlights the scholarly nature of faculty approaches to all areas of our work. If you have an interesting teaching project to assess, resources or knowledge to share, research to discuss, or experiences to reflect on; design a 25- or 45-minute interactive session for the Institute.
Following the full-day Institute is a half-day hands-on workshop on May 26 that includes resources, guidelines, and support for moving your work in the scholarship of teaching and learning or scholarship of higher education to a wider audience.
More information, the online form for submitting a proposal and the online registration for the Institute or workshop are at the Center for Faculty Excellence Activities page. Contact Susanne Morgan with questions or to be invited to the online Faculty Commons Group in myHomeCommunity where discussions of these issues are underway.
Individuals with disabilities requiring accommodations should contact Laurie Wasik in the Office of the Provost. We ask that requests for accommodations be made as soon as possible.
