The computer science club of Ithaca College will be having two events where participants can learn about computer components and put them together to build their very own computers.The computer science club of Ithaca College will be having two events where participants can learn about computer components and put them together to build their very own computers.
This event will be held on two separate days:
Part 1: Tuesday April 27th at 7pm in Williams 309
Part 2: Thursday April 29th at 7pm in Williams 309
Part 1
We will talk about the different components of the computers and explore the best way to put them together to optimize performance. There will be free food!
Part 2
We will put the parts together to form functioning computers then install an operating system on them. We will install Ubuntu on some of them and Windows 7 on the others. There will be free food as well!
Come and experience this fun learning opportunity whether you are a computer wiz, want to be one (face it, we're cool) or just want to learn something new.
