Contributed by Heather Mueller

The month of April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month.  Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM) commits to raising awareness and promoting the prevention of sexual violence through use of special events and public education.

Monday & Tuesday April 26 & 27 Students Active for Ending Rape are displaying a banner, and handing out white ribbons to show support for the cause of ending rape and sexual assault. Wearing the ribbon can show you are an ally or a survivor of the cause. You can place your ribbon on the banner, or wear it, your choice!

Please visit the banner on the Academic Quad to learn more about Sexual Assault Awareness Month!

There will be suggested donations that will be given to the Women's Advocacy Center in Ithaca, NY.
