On another day, Stewart Auyash, associate professor of public health in the Health Science and Human Performance and currentluy visiting associate professor at Nanyang Technological University, presented a lecture on international water issues in celebration of World Water Week in conjunction with a premiere screening of Water and the City (Sawati Dandekar, India, 2010) a powerful investigative documentary that follows the Kaveri River as it leaves the Western Ghats and travels to Bangalore, a city ripped open by development.
Both presentations were hosted by theBangalore Film Society and the Voices from the Waters Film Festival, long term collaborative partners of FLEFF. The Voices from the Waters Film Festival is a founding member, with FLEFF, of the Open Cinema Consortium.
