Honors Program student and French major Natalie Buchinski ('12) has recently been awarded a Killam Fellowship to study French literature and religion at the University of Ottawa, Canada.

Administered by the Foundation for Educational Exchange between Canada and the United States of America, the prestigious Killam Fellowship Program promotes mutual understanding between the two nations by facilitating academic and cultural exchange.  Each year, exceptional undergraduate students from both countries are awarded scholarships to pursue their intellectual interests through study abroad at an exchange university.

Natalie has been accepted at the University of Ottawa, a fully bilingual campus and one of Canada's most highly respected research universities.  After her fall semester in Ottawa, Natalie will travel to Nantes, France to finish her junior year abroad.

Please join the Honors Program and the Department of Modern Languages and Literatures in congratulating Natalie on her record of distinction and in wishing her well in her year abroad.

Bravo, Natalie ! Nous vous félicitons et vous souhaitons un très bon séjour au Canada et en France.
