This Thursday 4/15: Nigun - using melody as a Jewish spiritual practice
This is the first in an experiential lunch & learn series with Cantor Abbe Lyons, Interim Jewish Chaplain, Thursdays at noon, Buttermilk Falls Room (3rd floor campus center), open to all.
Fruit, vegetables, hummus, crackers & experiential learning provided.
Modern Hasidism has given a great gift to the Jewish people and the world: the gift of nigun or wordless melody as a spiritual practice. From wildly joyous to quietly contemplative, niggunim can ground us in the spirituality of everyday life and also help us go beyond everyday life.
