Rachel Walker, 2010 History Major, has been awarded the highly competitive "Department of History Dissertation Fellowship for Excellence in United States History" by the University of Maryland.
Ms. Walker will graduate with honors in May. This funding will allow her to pursue a PhD in early American women's history at Maryland where she will work with the well-known scholar Claire Lyons.
