If you have a student who needs to drive a College-owned/leased vehicle for any reason, they must complete a driver safety class and be at least 21 years of age.
The next driver safety class will be offered on Sunday, May 16, 2010 from 2pm-4pm in Textor 101.
Students should register, in advance, for the driver safety class by visiting the Office of Risk Management located at 319 Peggy Ryan Williams Center. If they are unable to stop by in person, they can email a request to register to: riskmanagement@ithaca.edu. In addition to taking the driver safety class and passing a required test at the close of class, students must submit a Driver Information Form. Please allow 14 business days for the College's insurance broker to review information on potential drivers. Make sure your students submit their forms well before they need to drive.
We recommend students review the student driver handbook before attending the class.
