Well, on May 8th, The IC Women's Volleyball team will be hosting a 6 v. 6 volleyball tournament to raise money for both the team and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital!Will you need a break right before finals? Well, on May 8th, The IC Women's Volleyball team will be hosting a 6 v. 6 volleyball tournament to raise money for both the team and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital!
Play will start at 10am and last until the end of the finals round. Pools will be distributed between the Hill Center gym and the Fitness Center.
Students and faculty are welcome to join as teams of 6 to 8 students, or as individuals who wish to be placed on a team. Teams may be co-ed and can sign up according to skill level. Cost is $10 per player.
Raffles and concession will be available throughout the event.
Proceeds of the tournament will go to the IC Women's team to pay for a pre-season trip, as well as to St. Jude Children's Research Hopsital. St Jude's is an incredible organization that raises money for the research and treatment of deadly childhood diseases and cancer.
Sign-up forms will be available during tabling, Tuesday, April 20th, and Thursday, April 29 from 9am to 3pm in Campus Center. Completed forms may be returned during these tabling times or to Hill #21. Money must be handed in with the completed forms. Additional sign-up forms can be requested electronically by emailing kthoene1@ithaca.edu.
The deadline for registering is April 30th at 4 pm to Hill #21. Be sure to sign up soon because available spots are filling up fast!
