Then submit a show proposal to IC Shakespeare!

IC Shakespeare in one of the newest clubs at IC. This organization is dedicated to giving all IC students a chance to express their appreciation of Shakespeare and his works and learn more about Shakespeare in a fun environment, regardless of how much knowledge they may or may not have.

One way in which IC Shakespeare wants to achieve this goal is by having performances of Shakespeare's works, adaptations of his works, and also student written pieces based off of Shakespeare. Currently, we will be accepting proposals for shows for the upcoming fall semester. We will be holding interviews for potential directors on Wednesday, May 5th from 7:30-9:30pm.

To propose a show, sign up for an interview here: spreadsheets.google.com/ccc and bring to the interview a written proposal stating:

1) Why you want to do your particular show
2) Why you would make a good director and what your directing style is
3) Cast info - size, part sizes, gender ratio
4) Budget - how much you need, how it would be divided
5) What you need in terms of props and costumes
6) Venue - what space you'd want to perform in
7) How long your rehearsal period would be
8) What you need in terms of a production staff
9) Information about rights, if applicable
10) What this show would bring to IC Shakespeare

For more information on proposals or IC Shakespeare, join the group on Facebook or feel free to e-mail icshakes@gmail.com with any questions!
