David Lurvey ’13, a Film, Photography, and Visual Arts major, and Dylan Lowry ’13, a
Cinema and Photography major, recently won the $2500 Grand Prize in the Patheos Faith on Campus Video Contest.

Their film, Dharma in the Dorm, is about maintaining a practice/faith on a college campus. “After coming to college, a lot of people lose touch with their spiritual/religious communities and gradually stray away from their faith,” said Lowry, a practicing Buddhist. “I talk about the struggles of maintaining one's practice while at college, and touch on a few of the aspects of Buddhism that I benefit from in my academic life. “
