Occupational Therapy Faculty and Alumni present at the American Occupational Therapy Association’s 90th Annual Conference and Expo

 Several faculty and alumni presented their research at the 90th Annual Conference and Expo Of the American Occupational Therapy Association, which was held from April 29 through May 2, 2010 in Orlando, Florida. Presentations are listed below.

 

Courtney Erin Gallagher (researcher, class of 2009) and Carole Dennis (thesis adviser) presented a poster of Courtney’s graduate research, titled Virtual Reality as a Rehabilitation Tool for a Child with Cerebral Palsy

 Diane Mary Long (faculty) presented a poster titled Student Understanding and Use of Clinical Reasoning: A Phenomenological Study

 Amanda L. Schlenker (researcher, class of 2009) and Carole Dennis (thesis adviser) presented a poster titled Predicting Happiness through Occupational Performance in College Students

 Carole W. Dennis was also an invited presenter at a panel presentation titled Challenges Facing Occupational Therapy Programs in Today’s Economic Environment at the American Occupational Therapy Association’s Program Director’s Education Council, which was also held in Orlando.
