Board of Trustees Approves Faculty Promotions

At its May meeting, the Ithaca College Board of Trustees approved promotions for six faculty members.

 

 

Lee Byron, Department of Theatre Arts, was promoted from associate to full professor. He holds M.B.A. and B.A. degrees from Pennsylvania State University.

G. Scott Erickson, Department of Marketing and Law, was promoted from associate to full professor. He received his Ph.D. from Lehigh University, M.I.M. from American Graduate School of International Management, M.B.A. from Southern Methodist University and B.A. from Haverford College.

Jean C. Hardwick, Department of Biology, was promoted from associate to full professor. She received her Ph.D. from the University of Vermont and her B.A. from Smith College.

Steven A. Seidman, Department of Strategic Communication, was promoted from associate to full professor. His Ph.D. and M.S. degrees are from Indiana University, Bloomington; his M.A. is from the University of Pennsylvania; and his B.S. is from the University of Wisconsin, Madison.

Cheryl Kramer, Department of Art History, was promoted from assistant to associate professor. She earned her Ph.D. from the University of St. Andrews, Scotland; M.A. from Rutgers University; and B.A. from Louisiana State University.

Phoebe Constantinou, Department of Health Promotion and Physical Education, was promoted from assistant to associate professor and granted tenure. She earned holds an Ed.D. degree from Columbia University and M.S. and B.S. degrees from Queens College.
