Laura Kuo will take up the position of Health Sciences Librarian on August 23, 2010.
Laura comes to IC from Hunter College where she was an Associate Professor and Director of the Health Professions Library for six years. She also served as Deputy Director for the two years prior to her appointment as Director. Prior to coming to Hunter College, Laura was employed as a librarian at the SMBD Jewish General Hospital in Montreal. Laura has published extensively in the areas of public health and evidence-based practice in the health sciences.
Laura holds an MLIS from McGill University and an MPA from Baruch College. A native New Yorker, she received her undergraduate degree from SUNY Albany.
