WICB and VIC were nominated for several awards in the Collegiate Broadcasters, Inc. (CBI) student production competition. Winners will be announced at the National Student Media Convention in Louisville, Oct. 27-31. The stations were nominated for:
• Best Student Media Web Site: WICB.org
• Best Regularly Scheduled Program: VIC's "Disney Mania"
• Sports Play-By-Play: Two nominations for WICB basketball coverage
• Best Feature Program: WICB's SportsTalk "2009 Year in Review"
